You’re going down, House Cortess

This week, Tristan and I discuss patch 1.1.5, as well as some points from 1.2. We also go over the Developer Q&A from last week.

The Questline this week goes over both the light and dark side choices associated with a fantastic Imperial Agent questline on Alderan; the one that leads to the acquisition of Vector as a companion.

It was a lot of fun to see the completely different outcomes for that questline based on polar opposite choices. That is one advantage to playing both a light and a dark side Imperial Agent.

Revan and HK-47

This week, Tristan and I discuss patches 1.1.3 and 1.1.4. We also discuss the end of the Imperial Agent’s Act I, as well as the most awesome start of their Act II.

We also tackle a couple Flashpoints; Boarding Party and The Foundry.

Leaked Patched Goodness

This week, Tristan and I go over the current 1.1.2 patch, as well as the leaked patches for 1.2-1.5. These have not been confirmed, of course, thought they certainly are filled with all that is good in SWTOR… including another companion for everyone.

Seems HK-51 will be in the game after all, despite Bioware’s insistence that he was not.

In the words of Monty Python; “… and there was great rejoicing.”

Also in the leaked patches are more quests, dailies, Flashpoints and Operations, some with fan favorites, Gree Droids and the Dread Masters.

Jason and Jenny Interview

This week, Tristan and I welcome Jason (@psynister) and Jenny (@fynralyl) Griffith to the podcast. This power leveling couple is known by many on Twitter and in the World of Warcraft blogosphere. Both are insanely addicted altoholics, though Jason’s rationale for this is his site which contains absolutely fantastic leveling guides.

Since open beta, the couple’s been spending the majority of their time in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Their mains have primarily been on the Republic side, though they have also dabbled with the Dark side.

Stephen Reid Interview (Senior Online Community Manager for SWTOR)

Tristan and I got the chance to sit and chat with Stephen Reid, the Senior Online Community Manager for SWTOR, last night. Stephen was great. He answered all our questions, even though a few of them put him on the spot. He was thorough regarding Bioware’s take on a variety of topics, including Patch 1.1, high textures, as well as the possibility of a dual spec system coming into play.

The Duel

This week, Tristan and I discuss patch 1.01, which includes the Slicing nerf which has left many of us hurting. We also take some time to go over Crew Skills and the symmetry of assigning various skills to all of your alts.

Having read the hardcover journal which came with his Collector’s Edition several times over, Tristan schools us on the lore within including some interesting facts about a couple species and wars.

For our Questline segment, I talk about a Smuggler-specific quest: The Duel.
